1. What cities do you serve?
We provide housekeeping and other Cleaning Services in San Francisco, San Mateo, Oakland and surrounding areas.
2. How much do you charge?
The cost varies depending on what needs to be cleaned and the state of the home or office. We typically charge $89-$146 for a 1BR, 1BA home and $117-$176 for a 2BR, 2BA. First time cleanings are generally a little more expensive.
Many flats in San Francisco would fall under our minimum charge of $88 for weekly ongoing service (Our supplies are included in the price). Once the initial house cleaning has been completed, we will confirm your regular cleaning price.
We request cancellations or rescheduling notice two business days in advance. Cancellations or rescheduling one business day ahead is charged $30. Same day cancellations are charged the full price of the scheduled cleaning.
4. Will you send different people to my place?
We will always try to send the same team to your place since they would be familiar with you and your needs. If there is a scheduling problem we would only send another team with prior notice.
5. What supplies do you use?
The supplies we use are listed in our Product Recommendation list. They are more expensive than their toxic peers, but we use them because the human and environmental health cost is lower. We look for supplies that are non-toxic, bio-degradable and effective.
6. Is Greenforce a franchise?
No, the owners are the managers or cleaners in the business. All owners work in the business. We have a single office in San Francisco.
7. What about gratuities?
Our teams are not expecting gratuities but would be happy to receive them if you choose.
8. Do you take credit cards?
Yes, we take most major credit cards including Amex.
9. Do I Have To Be Home When Greenforce Cleans?
This is your option. You may give us a key to be safely stored – always with “double-blind” security. Only the office manager can access the client key safe. Teams are given the keys for when an appointment is scheduled, and must turn these back in to management when they’re done. These keys are returned to the lock box until the next cleaning appointment. Keys are only identified by number not name or address.
10. Do You schedule a specific Time for My House Cleaning Appointment?
Greenforce will schedule a specific day and time for your house cleaning within a 10 minute window plus or minus. Take that Comcast.
11. What If I Accidentally Lock Greenforce Out on My Cleaning Day?
Just as with cancellation fees, lock-out will incure a full charge since our time is already booked.
Most of our clients either provide us a key or hide one on the premises on cleaning day if they can not be home.
12. Do I Need to Provide House Cleaning Equipment or Supplies?
We provide all cleaning solutions and state-of-the-art equipment, so you never need to worry about replenishing your supply for our teams. You can see the products we use HERE.
13. What if I want the team to use special products I have in my house?
If you have special house cleaning products you want the team to use, please be sure to discuss this with the Office in advance, so that we can properly instruct the team.
14. What if there is a problem with the cleaning?
If you have any issues or concerns with the cleaning please call us in the office ASAP but no later than three days. If we are contacted much later than that there is no way to determine what happened.
