Carpet Protector helps carpets stay cleaner, brighter, newer and fresher through all kinds of daily wear.
Carpet protector provides extra time to clean up spills, minimizes wicking and the spreading of stains and helps keep spills from becoming hard-to-remove spots or stains.. And it creates a invisible shield around carpet fibers, keeping dirt from sticking to fibers.
Dirt and stains cling to untreated carpet and quickly become embedded in the fibers and helps keep dirt from lodging within the carpet. The same technology that keeps foods from sticking to pots and pans prevents dirt and grime from sticking to the carpet.
A professional cleaning will brighten and freshen a carpet, but every time someone walks into a house, they track in dirt. Once dirt gets into a carpet, it gets ground in deeper with every step. Now add the effects of spills, stains and crumbs that get trapped in the carpet. That’s why it is recommended to apply carpet protector to a freshly cleaned carpet.
Improves vacuuming
Vacuuming is actually more effective after carpet Protector. Dirt is more easily picked-up, and fewer passes are required with the vacuum.
Keep your home cleaner, fresher, brighter ... longer:

Scotchguard is a brand name that people have come to associate with all types of carpet protectors, just like Kleenex is a brand of tissue. However it is not very green and there are many brands to choose from. We offer two choices of carpet protector. In this case our “green” brand of carpet protector is good but not great so we keep both choices on hand.
Does Cleaning Remove the Protector?
Some carpet protector is removed from the fiber from heavy traffic or aggressive cleaning. Some product may also be removed by strong cleaning agents and chemicals. Check with your supplier to determine which cleaning agents you may need to avoid. It is generally recommended to re-apply a carpet protector each time the carpet is cleaned.
