At Greenforce, we consider being green a way of life. Our job as cleaners is inseparable from our commitment to eco-friendly and minimally toxic products. No matter what kind of services you come to us for, whether you’re interested in a one-off cleaning or a recurring housekeeping schedule, our cleaners will always use our carefully curated collection of green cleaning products and our proven-effective environmentally conscious cleaning techniques.
Everything we do here at Greenforce is clean, green, and carbon-neutral for the good of our customers, planet, and employees.
On average, our cleaners travel 7 miles for each customer we service daily, including all related stops. Even though we use vehicles with the best possible fuel economy (usually about 21 mpg), we use a lot of gas, which can lead to a sizable carbon footprint – something our eco-conscious team wants to avoid at all costs. That’s why we’ve taken steps to become carbon neutral by offsetting our carbon emissions through donations to environmental causes.
For every job we take and every visit we make to our customers’ homes, we make a donation to The Carbonfund to offset our carbon emissions. We also work with EcoBusinessLinks to make our carbon-neutral efforts a matter of public record.
Yes! We are happy to do laundry and we do it for many of our clients. Just so long as enough time is provided for the washing and drying cycles.
If you have any issues or concerns with the cleaning please call us in the office ASAP but no later than three days. If we are contacted much later than that there is no way to determine what happened.
If you have special house cleaning products you want the team to use, please be sure to discuss this with the Office in advance, so that we can properly instruct the team.
Go to your cupboard and pick up a cleaning product. You might see it contains chlorine, phenol, ammonia, or formaldehyde. Unfortunately, these substances, and others commonly used in off-the-shelf cleaning products, may be unsafe for you and your family. According to the US Environmental Protection Agency, the air inside a typical home is, on average, 2 to 5 times more polluted than the air outside – and in extreme cases, 100 times more contaminated – largely because of household cleaners and pesticides.
Run-off from these chemicals is also a significant issue for our watersheds. Additionally, children, pets, and even adults exposed to these products in their concentrated forms can be seriously injured – nine out of ten poison exposure cases are suspected to be from household products.
That’s why it’s so important to us to use the most minimally toxic products available. We want to make sure that our customers never have to worry about being exposed to serious safety hazards from chemicals that are known to be highly harmful. With our green cleaning services, you won’t have to worry about poison exposure or indoor pollution.
